Company searches now draw on the Global Legal Entity Identifier Index, published
by GLEIF under a public domain licence.
A company can be found by name or by its LEI, and the record carries its legal
name, registered address, legal form and status. Where GLEIF publishes them, the
direct parent, the ultimate parent and the subsidiaries are available as well —
which is what makes a corporate relationship graph possible at all.
Relationships taken from the register are marked as stated by the source.
Anything the platform works out for itself is marked as an inference, and the two
are never allowed to blur together.
