Open-source intelligence
One query, every source we are permitted to ask
People, companies, vessels, sanctions and cultural property — searched across official published sources, with the source, the date and the link on every result.
Searching is for members of the association.
What can be searched
- Searching for a person
- Missing and unidentified people
- Searching for a vehicle
- Ships and aircraft
- Searching for a company
- Sanctions lists
- Stolen art and cultural property
Searches can also be asked about Person, Company, Vessel, Aircraft, Vehicle, Cultural property and more.
Every result carries the name of the source it came from, and the date it was retrieved. How the search works, what it is allowed to reach and what it refuses to do is set out in full on the methodology page.
What this will not do
-
It does not reach private profiles, direct messages, closed groups, protected databases or leaked data. Only what a publisher has chosen to make public.
-
It does not work around CAPTCHA, authentication, access limits or paywalls. Where a source is closed, the answer is to say so — not to find a way in.
-
It does not confirm identity. A name that agrees, or even an identifier that matches, identifies a record — not the person you were looking for.
-
It does not accuse anyone. Results are records published by third parties, and are never a statement that any person has committed an offence.
