Several things have been added over the past six weeks, and none of them was announced at the time. Here they are together.
Global Security now opens on a globe. It shows earthquakes, natural disasters and recorded conflict events from official and academic sources, and the air-raid alerts for Ukraine and Israel as they are declared and lifted. Under the globe there is a search for people, aircraft and vessels.
Preparedness has a new course, on plague: how it spreads, how it is recognised and what the health authorities advise. It opens with a narrated film and is written from international sources only.
The site now fits the screen it is opened on, from a small phone to a television, and it works in older browsers and on television sets that previously showed it without its layout. The language menu on the opening page can be reached on every phone.
In the member's cabinet there is a new page, Ideas: propose a change to the site or the association, and vote for the proposals of others. Nobody's name is shown beside an idea or a vote. Your profile now has a button that downloads a copy of the data the association holds about you, a report you made can be deleted from your own list, and articles and courses have a Share button.
