Members can now run a single query across every published source the association
is permitted to call, and see the answer with its provenance attached.
Every result names the source that published it, the moment the data was
retrieved from that publisher, and a link straight to the original record. A
result is never a conclusion: the platform states on every record that a match
does not confirm identity and is not a statement that anyone has committed an
offence.
Searching is part of membership. It is not open to the public, and it is not a
law enforcement database — UPA is an independent research platform and is not the
FBI, INTERPOL, EUROPOL, a police force or any government body.
