WHO and Federal Ministry of Health step up Sudan’s preparedness for potential Ebola outbreak

The training, which combines lectures with practical, hands-on exercises, brings together 85 frontline health care workers and other personnel, including 50 doctors and nurses and 35 cleaning, support and administrative staff from health facilities in Khartoum State, and from Khartoum Airport. A subsequent session will extend the training to other states with cross-border links to neighbouring countries, including Red Sea, White Nile, Blue Nile and Gadaref. Federal Minister of Health H.E.
