Country guidance

Norway

Norway asks households to be prepared to manage on their own for one week — longer than most of its neighbours, and stated in those terms by DSB. Its guidance covers water, heat and light when the power fails, food that keeps, medicines, and what to do when the internet and mobile networks do not work.

112

Norway operates separate national emergency numbers in addition to 112. They are not recorded here because they have not yet been confirmed against an official Norwegian source — check with the authority before relying on this entry.

Household preparedness

UPA educational materials are intended for general preparedness and educational purposes. In an emergency, always follow current instructions from local authorities and emergency services. Country-specific procedures may differ.

The association counts visits with its own tables — no advertising, no third party, and nothing that follows you off this site. It is off unless you say otherwise, and you can change your mind at any time.
